
For over twenty years, Ericka Robertson Frank has been baking and decorating wedding cakes and desserts for the special occasions of family and friends. Because of her delectable recipes and eye for beauty, her talent was consistently in high demand. Ericka eventually started the Cakery out of her home, with an identity defined by her classy yet whimsical style, incredibly moist cakes, and buttercream made from the finest ingredients.
Catering to the increasing demand, Ericka partnered with Julie Van Elswyk in 2004, and they worked together to open the first Cakery storefront. On March 15th of 2005, the Cakery opened its doors at 1420 Tamm Avenue in historic Dogtown. The Cakery has since been featured multiple times in the local media, garnering attention for its distinct designs and from-scratch buttercream that tops every Cakery dessert.
The Cakery offers a variety of decorated cupcakes and cookies, all-occasion cakes, and customized wedding cakes. Each and every product is made with care, as the Cakery's emphasis on personalized service and consistent quality are virtues that will never change.
